Washington County

The meetings of Washington County Work Team members spanned several types of settings. Presentations of the Storm Surge Scenarios and draft Climate Vulnerability Assessments were provided to the General Assembly of the Washington County Council of Governments (July 31, 2013) and to multiple towns in 5 bay-specific public presentations in the fall of 2013. In addition there were multiple meetings, conference calls, google hangouts and conference presentations where the work was developed and refined. This will continue as WCCOG and the UMM GIS Service Center work wth Washington County towns on mooring plans (for Perry and Pembroke) and the vulnerability of the working waterfront in Washington County as part of Shore and Harbor Planning grant funds and Coastal Communities grant funds respectively from the Maine Coastal Program.
